Born and raised in San Diego, CA., I started surfing at the age of 10. By the time I was 12 I started surfing competitively. During my junior year in high school I went on to win NSSA national championships. While 12th grade rolled along I graduated early to join the world longboard tour surfing through the WLT, I made the cut for the prestigious Oxbow world longboard championship in Cabo San Lucus. Additionally during this time I was competing in local, regional and national pro events,as well as specialty noserinding events, like the Oceanside pro which I won four times. With the lack of a solid longboarding tour and good venues for competitive surfing, my career deviated from weekly contests to traveling. My whole life I have loved surfing powerful conditions with waves of consequence. Pipeline remains my all-time favorite. Charging big surf and traveling has required me ride all length and types of boards as dictated by the break or conditions. My surfing has been highlighted in a number of videos including "Hang", "Fin" and was showcased on Longboard TV's episode #8. At the age of 22 I feel like my surfing has only started.
